Soders’ inspiration comes from her surroundings. She believes firmly that everything has beauty and significance, but we must often look past the surface to see the possibilities. Linda is a self-taught artist who creates art that mirrors life experiences. An intense passion for mixed media is evident in her work. She uses acrylics, clay, metal, fiber, and cast-offs to create three-dimensional and abstract pieces. Whatever the intent, the outcome is always thought-provoking.
Opting to listen to the dictates of her heart rather than being bound by convention, Linda weaves intricate tapestries that mirror life and touch the viewer at a very personal level.
